I booked the hotel Victoria for 2 nights after the new year but being the peak season there was not much choice available for my budget.I was expecting to find myself in a cupboard sized room in a dowdy hotel but my fears were unfounded.The hotel was perfectly fine, clean and warm decent sized room with a powerful shower in the onsuite.The check in is 2pm and they adhere to it but you can leave your luggage there.Breakfast was as you would expect it to be juice ,coffee,cereal,cold meats etc.The location of the hotel is fine if you are familiar with the tram system with a stop close to the hotel.I will return to Prague and i would have no qualms about staying in the hotel Victoria again.

Clean good value for money hotel. Excellant breakfasts. Staff vey good. Within easy reach on tram to Prague centre. Only drawback in hot weather it needs airconditioning. Good local restaurants and bars

I'm not recommend it to others.
Not clean.
Very hot in room. No conditioner. No fan.
Not quite place.
Good breakfast. Good location.

good hotel, clean, good location-not far from center.
The breakfast is nice, good variety and until 10am so you dont have to wake up early.

The staff is not at all friendly however and not willing to help you with anything.

The hotel was fantastic and a very welcome surprise. I was given a room at the top with great light and so comfortable.
The room was extremely clean, well kept and a clean and save haven to retreat to after a walk about day in Prague.
Once you master the tram no. 9 it's an easy 3 stop ride to and from Tescos - in central Prague. This hotel is EXCELLENT value for money and the staff and brteakfast where all very good indeed. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and would stay there again. It is on a hill and on the outskirts/ suburbs of Prague - however you could walk to centre but why bother the tram no 9 is very regular.

we have been to prague four times now and have stayed at the city patner victoria four times i think that says it all its great value for money in the winter months although its not right in the center its right next to a tram stop and its only 3 stops (10mins) to the center a return ticket costs £1.25( nov 08 ) and the trams run 24 hours per day watchout the numbers change at night just ask the hotel they will advise you of the numbers

the rooms are clean, bright and the beds are very comfortable.... all in its great value for money

a great hotel very clean and modern good resturant bar next door tram stop only 200 m from hotel and 3 stops from center (8 mins) trams run 24 hours per day and are very frequent all this makes the victoria hotel great place to stay and good value for money
