This 4-star small historical hotel is perfectly located in the centre in the picturesque Lesser Town (Mala Strana) close to the Castle and within a few minutes from the famous Charles Bridge. Charming, classical hotel with spacious rooms and modern amenities. ***LOCATION*** The hotel is situated on the left bank of Vltava river in the upmarket Castle quarter of Mala Strana, surrounded by picturesque cobbled streets, ancients burgher houses, many embassies and lovely gardens and parks. The hotel is a 15-min up-the-hill walk to the Castle and close to Petrin Park, Kinski Gardens and Waldstein Gardens. Charles Bridge is within 5 minute-walk and across the bridge lays the historical Old Town (about 15-20 min walk from the hotel). Most attractions are within walking distance, however, there is also a metro stop - Malostranska (within 10 minute-walk from the hotel or 1 tram stop away) and from there it is only 2 metro stops to Wenceslas Square. ***EXTERIOR*** The 5-storey property consists of three adjacent historical buildings from the 16th century all boasting with stays of historically important persons and artists. ***ROOMS*** Rooms are very spacious. They are very tastefully decorated with classic Spanish furniture and have wooden floors. The decor is new and welcoming. Only attic rooms have air-conditioning. Bathrooms are also large; most with both shower/bath and a few with shower only. Both rooms and bathrooms are reported to be very clean and comfortable. ***RESTAURANTS & BARS*** The hotel restaurant serves Czech and international cuisine in original rooms with vaulted or beam ceilings. There is also a winter garden with a glass roof. (open 11.30am - 11pm). Hot & cold buffet breakfast with a variety of choice is served in the restaurant from 7.30 to 10.30. ***OTHER INFORMATION*** Parking is available in the hotel's underground garage for a fee. Please note that the hotel's area is hilly with cobbled streets and therefore not very suitable for those with mobility problems.
