The hotel is a reconstruction of a classical 19th century building. In the middle ages it held a highly significant and was located right beside the city wall. This is made evident by the presence of the preserved watchtower, visible from the hotel. The hotel itself comprises 125 rooms, of which 81 are double rooms, 2 are suites and 2 are junior suites, spread over 4 floors. Among the facilities on offer are air conditioning, 24-hour reception, a hotel safe and lift access. Guests can exchange money at the currency exchange and there is a café, a bar, a restaurant and conference services. The hotel also offers laundry and room services. The hotel is situated beside the Moldau, opposite the National Theatre, one of Prague's most significant heritage sites. It lies right on the border with Prague's medieval old town. Charles Bridge and the old town square are, along with many other sights, in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The pedestrian zone begins right in front of the hotel, giving guests easy access to all the best shopping amenities, the Prague stock exchange and the commercial district of the city. There are links to the public transport network just 100 m from the hotel and Prague airport is approximately 18 km away. It is possible to book bed and breakfast stay. Breakfast is available in the form of a buffet. From Prague's main railway station take the underground line C (the red line) from Hlavní Nádra?í to Ládví. Change at Florenc onto line B (the yellow line) and go 3 stations further towards Zli?ín and get out at Národní t?ída. From here walk towards the river and the hotel is just 500 m ahead. From Hole?ovice take the underground line C (the red line) from Nádra?í Hole?ovice towards Haje and get out at Florenc. Then take line B (the yellow line) towards Zli?ín. After 3 stations get out at Národní t?ída. From here walk towards the river and the hotel is just 500 m ahead, by taxi around 10 minutes.

Eurostar Thalia was a fantastic value for my stay in Prague. Great location, right on Naradni Trida, near the river, yet room was quiet and wonderfully appointed. Walking distance to everything. I'm "particular" about my hotel accommodations and I heartily recommend this hotel.

Great Hotel

Great hotel, near the centre, clean , nicely decorated and furnished. The bathroom was wonderful with heated floor and large bath great for warming up after the icy walks around Prague. The staff were friendly and helpful - couldn't fault it. If ever we went back would certainly stay there again.

Great Location

We stayed at the Thalia in December 2009. The location was perfect - we were within easy walking distance (two blocks) of the river and the Charles Bridge was only a few blocks after that. Also close to one of the main squares, shopping and restaurants. The buffet breakfast was huge - several kinds of meat, cheeses, eggs, fruit, an assortment of pastries, juices, coffee, and different kinds of teas. Very good value for the price compared to other European capitals. Large room and bathroom and huge bathtub.

Very nice hotel. Well situated - close to the old city centre while very close to the metro and on several tram lines. Very comfortable modern design bedrooms. Perfectly working free wifi. The breakfast was OK but not exceptional (the bread was not exactly fresh). All in all an excellent choice considering the price.
