A beautiful well postioned hotel with friendly staff and a breakfast that woud be hard to match for any other hotel but unfortunately this all means nothing due to the VERY poor standard and management of the housekeeping team!!!
On arrival our toilet seat was soiled and open with loads of hairs all round the floor, the bathroom hadnt been cleaned. We complained but there was no response, assistance or apology. After returning to our room the next day after being out for the day we found the bed hadnt been made or turned down and the tea/coffee serive hadnt been replenished. All in all a shocking house keeping standard that lets this hotel down.
I would not recommend this hotel due to the house keeping issues and will be writing to Mr & Mrs Smith to inform them of the poor hotel under there normally impressive umbrella

The hotel was excellent in every way froom staff to rooms. the breakfast choice was amazing
