I was very pleasantly surprised to find that the Maximilian exceeded my expectations. I knew it was a 4-star hotel, but I'd gotten such a good deal on it that I was afraid it might be run down. Nothing could be further from the truth. It was very modern and elegant in a relaxed sort of way. The service, especially, was exceptional. Breakfast was very nice. I highly recommend this hotel, especially if you can get the Skoosh deal!

Great location. Perfect for those travellers who do not require the business side of hotels. Friendly staff, great breakfast and neat honesty bar

An excellent recently renovated hotel in the heart of Josefov, only minutes from old town square. The decor is ultramodern just like its sister property The Hotel Josef. The Maximilian has all the modern amenities that one would expect along with nice touches such as the Honesty Bar - a self service bar with snack available all day - as well as a library with some well chosen books on local design and architecture. The business center is open 24 hours and its fast free internet was greatly appreciated. The breakfast room had a very good buffet with hot and cold foods and you could order any type of omelets from the kitchen. Overall the hotel provides superb value considering their impeccable amenities, service and location.

Courteous and professional staff. Comfortable and spacious rooms with good modern design. Very good location near Old Town and Josefov.
