For those of you who like to be cared for and pampered while on vacation, the riu company did a awesome job. I had the opportunity to experience the mambo riu and i was so please with their service, smiles and willingness to please that i am already planning a second trip. My family felt relaxed and are also exited to have visit this resort. Please make sure you thank the employes for their hard work for they will make you feel comfortable....Thanks RIU employees!!!

The reception staff at Riu Mambo were not so professional. They were very arrogant towards certain requests or questions. They behaved as if they were speaking to you on the street and you were someone they did not want to associate with.

I would recommend this place to anyone especially for those that have never been to the Dominican Republic. It is safe, clean and very friendly. The beach is just a short walk from your room. The food and entertainment are excellent. I did not rate excellent because cable would go out frequently in the rooms. Other than that it is a very good place to vacation.
