We've stayed in a room which very close to the elevator, so I can hear the elevators operating every few minutes.

Since we did not pay much, I considered this experience is just "ok" for what I've paid.

The Sands is definitly worth the budget price we paid. We like the room size, the friendly staff and we always seem to come out ahead in the Casino, if only by a few dollars. We were disappointed that the snack bar was closed at 9:30 though. We didn't want a full meal, or to eat at the other restaurant choices, so we went to the somewhat overpriced gift shop for a candy bar. The other problem was that we kept having to wait in line for the elevators. (Must have had some bus tours or groups all arriving at once, and going up to their rooms all at the same time?

Very good value for your money, rooms are always clean, staff friendly. We stay at the Sands at least twice a year for either business or pleasure

Clean and everyone was very nice, only bad thing was that you could feel every spring in the mattress even though it appeared to be new. I would and have recommended tit to others. It's a great deal and am not sorry that we stayed.
