Fosshotel Baron is a 3 star hotel in

This hotel is located just a stone's throw from Reykjavik's main shopping street, Laugavegur on one side and the harbour on the other. Despite being right in the centre of town the hotel is in a surprisingly peaceful position.
This hotel could not be better located, enjoying a central, yet peaceful, position. Although it is not Reykjavik's most charming hotel, its modern functionality can't fail to impress and for those on a budget this hotel is hard to better.
The hotel has an ultra-modern metal-clad facade.
The hotel's breakfast room is located just off the reception area. It is simply decorated and cosy-looking.
The modern lobby is small and simple with a tiled floor and modern reception desk.
The standard rooms are medium sized. They are decorated mostly in white with strong coloured carpets. Though a little featureless, they are in exceptional condition as are the simple bathrooms.
3 km to the nearest beach, 3 km to the nearest fair site (laugardalur), 3 kms to the airport (reykjavik), 45 kms to the airport (keflavik international), 5 minute walk to the nearest bus stop.
