Fron Hotel is a 3 star hotel in Reykjavik.
This modern 3-star hotel is certainly the best place to stay in Reykjavik for a number of reasons: its location right in the heart of Laugavegur, Reykjavik's shopping street could not be more central; its spacious rooms decorated in a contemporary Nordic style; its proud owners waiting for you at reception with a warm welcome - and finally - its value-for-money price! All the modern-style bedrooms have telephone, mini-bar, radio, flat-screen satellite tv, safe, hairdryer and wi-fi connection. The hotel also hosts a Mexican restaurant, which always offers a lively atmosphere and the best margaritas in town. Secure off-street parking is available, but it is advisable to contact the hotel in advance when traveling by car as the number of spaces is limited. <br>Please note that limited breakfast is available before 7am. A full buffet is served after 7 am.
Rather unfriendly people at the desk but the room was big, clean, quite good price and at a good location. For sure a good place to stay.

Hotel was fine, right in the middle of Reykjavik but not noisy at all on Friday/Saturday night. This may depend on where your room is in the hotel as some will face the main street and some will be in the enclosed courtyard area behind.
Our room was at the back on the ground floor and accessible directly from the street - almost like an apartment.
Room was great, service was perfectly fine, breakfast was basic but serviceable. Location and price made it an obvious choice for us, the quality was an added plus. Fully recommended

The hotel provides a clean and basic lodging and the location cannot be more convenient and better.
A couple minor things that were disappointing: 1) they could easily install liquid soap and shampoo dispenser instead of leaving two tiny soaps in a bag for hotel guests. 2) I would expect a coffee maker or an electric thermal boiler in each room, not just in the apartments.

The fact that our room had a kitchen!!
However our shower was poor - warmish water!
I would stay there again!!!
