We booked a two night stay here before driving the ring road. Staff was helpful and friendly. Rooms very clean and modern. Location is also good, within walking distance of many bars, restaurants, and a 24 hour supermarket. Only negative is that there is no free parking. A small lot is located less then a block away and only charge during the day. Overall, had a very pleasent stay.

Can't beat the location with this property ... right in the center of the old town with numerous shops and restaurants just minutes by walk away. Clean, efficient rooms although the standard single room is small. Great value for money, especially now since the Icelandic Kroner has devalued so much. Internet access pricey and not included (500 kr/hour or 1500 kr/24 hours). Breakfast buffet adequate but also pricey (2200 kr). Service at front desk is polite and efficient although, as elsewhere in Iceland, just that. Don't expect anything more. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Reykjavik.

Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, the service was friendly and very efficient, the staff went really out of their way to help.
The rooms are small but perfectly formed, they have everything you need for a short break - from hairdryer to minibar, and they are cosy and impeccably clean.
The breakfast was excellent, with an excellent selection of hot and cold food, and the hotel arranged for us to have an early breakfast at 4am on our departure day so we didn't have to leave on an empty stomach!
On top of this, the location was absolutely perfect, you could walk up to the main part of town within about 5 minutes, and there are some fantastic restaurants right on the doorstep.
It was great value for money and I really couldn't fault it!
