Reykjavik Hotel is a 3 star hotel in Reykjavik.
An attractive and modern hotel located in the heart of Iceland's capital, its combination of quality and reasonable prices means that the Reyjavik is one of the best value hotels to be found in the city. It is located just at the start of Reykjavik's main artery Laugavegur where all sorts of trendy shops and many restaurants can be found. The hotel provides 78 comfortable rooms, as well as suites and family rooms. A fine restaurant and bar-lounge complete the service and facilities. A good place to stay when discovering the delights of Iceland!
A friend and I stayed at Hotel Reykjavik (aka TOP) during a trip that lasted 4 nights. We were very nervous about what to expect as the price was quite a budget. We were both pleasantly surprised at how clean and comfortable the hotel was. The staff was extremely helpful and the location was perfect for making our way downtown. If you do not require frills and extra amenities Hotel Reykjavik is the perfect choice. They also offered a free continental breakfast daily which was very satisfactory!
Cheers

The hotel was clean and just a short walk from the main city center. Breakfast was ample and the hotel had a free computer for use in the lobby. The (free) onsite parking was greatly appreciated and the staff (with the exception of one lady) was friendly and helpful. We were able to book excursions through the hotel and get picked up right outside. Rooms were a nice size and very comfortable. This hotel exceeded my expectations and I will return if I find myself in Iceland again.

I found this to be a good tourist class hotel. Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly, helpful and generally organised (although wake-up calls were a little late). Location was good, on the outskirts of city but only a 15-20 minute walk to centre, and several decent restaurants in the same street. My rating takes into account these factors and the cost, which was cheap for Iceland. Would be happy to go back to this hotel.
