Albert Hotel is a 3 star hotel in Riga. Centrally located in the exclusive zone of Art Nouveau architecture, the 3+ star superior Albert Hotel is a very nice, stylish and comfortable place to stay. A mere 10 minutes stroll from the Freedom Monument and 15 minutes from the heart of the Old town, all the main assets of the capital of Latvia are within easy reach. The 246 modern rooms have all the comforts needed for an enjoyable stay including cable television, air conditioning, telephone, WIFI and mini bar. Before starting their evening out, guests will more than appreciate drinks from the Star Lounge Bar on the upper floor of the hotel which offers a panoramic view overlooking the city. For those who prefer to have dinner at the hotel, the "Bestsellers restaurant" offers a choice of Latvian dishes as well as international cuisine. (Guests booking a triple room should note that these are a double room with an extra bed and not three single beds).

I would have no hesitation in recommending the Hotel Albert in Riga. It was first class and very clean. The breakfasts were the best I've ever had in a European Hotel and the bar on the 11th floor was lovely for a cocktail before dinner. The view was great. The twin room was just big enough and the bathroom was state of the art. I could go on and on - it was perfectly placed just outside the old part of the city and very close to some of the wonderful Art Nouveau buildings. Riga was a delight and I will be going back again soon. Yes it was good value for money as I am sure it was a four star plus. It exceeded expectations. The staff were friendly and efficient.
