Housed in a building that dates back to 1880 that was renovated in 2004, this air-conditioned city hotel comprises a total of 47 rooms, which includes 1 junior suite. Facilities include a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a safe, a restaurant, a breakfast room, public Internet access, a laundry service and a garage. This hotel is located in a quiet, safe area at the heart of Rome's historical centre. The Trevi fountain is 200 m away, it is about 300 m to the Spanish Steps, the Colosseum and Termini train station are 500 m from the hotel and the Vatican may be found 1. 5 km away. Ciampino airport is 15 km away and it is 25 km to Leonardo da Vinci (Fiumicino) airport. It is possible to book and bed and breakfast only stay. Guests may select their breakfast from an ample buffet.

As of Jan 2011 Rome is introducing a new city tax to be paid by the guest to the hotel directly prior to their departure, excluding hostel and charged up to 10 nights. € 3.00 per person/per night for 5* and 4* hotels and € 2.00 per person/per night for 3*, 2* and 1* hotels.

Good Reasonable price hotel

Stayed for 3 nights at end of Sep-2009 I would let the decision to you to decide if the hotel meets your requirements. The hotel has a left only for luggage or special cases by simple approval from the reception. The breakfast is very simple and really it is good value for money. The hotel is in quiet place and 5 mints walking to the metro or less.

Hotel Aberdeen was fab!

The Hotel Aberdeen is a fabulous hotel in the city center of Rome. It is central to all of the main attractions and is situated close to a metro station which makes easy access for getting to places slightly further away. For a city center hotel it is spotless and the rooms were to the best standard. The staff were all very helpful and were able to answer all of our questions. The hotel is great value for money and I would recommend it!

The Aberdeen Hotel

What a nice hotel. Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable, with friendly, helpful staff. Good location, and would definitely stay there again.
