We had a great experience with staying at the Veneto Hotel. The rooms were clean and the staff were very helpful. our room was in the front of the hotel so we got some road noise and the furniture could of looked better but it was clean and comfortable. The safe in the room was not bolted down so I did not use it. The location was a 10 minute walk to the subway and Spanish Steps and the area seemed safe to walk. There were a lot of restaurants with in walking distance with great food.

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful — We loved Hotel Veneto! It was in a very safe neighborhood, close to Piazza Barberini which was our favorite part of town and very near the Spanish Steps. The Trevi fountain was also close (maybe a 10 minute walk) and the Colisseum was only about a 20 minute walk. We walked to the Vatican too, and I'm happy we chose not to stay too close to those areas. Although the Via Veneto neighborhood is a little ritzy, Barberini is very laid back and really just a few blocks down the street. The neighborhoods near the big sites like the Colisseum and Vatican are pretty sketchy, and shopping and dining are more expensive there. This hotel was beautiful, the staff was very very helpful, and I would definitely recommend this place to others and will stay there again.

Veneto was very nice, and very beautyfull

Definately, yes we would like to recommend the Hotel, placed nice in the center of Rome, nice breakfast restaurant and the service was fine. Nice Hotel wich gave value for the money, and our expectations was more than met.
