The hotel is surrounded by history and culture, in the centre of Rome. The Opera House, the Roman Museum and the exhibition centre are in front of the hotel and there are many shops, bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The hotel welcomes guests in a foyer with 24-hour reception and a safe, a lift, a café, a bar, a breakfast room, a restaurant, conference rooms, a public Internet terminal as well as a car park and a garage. Free Wi-Fi, room service and a laundry service are also available. All motorways with exit Rome meet up with the great ring road (G. R. A. )From North towards Rome, A1 exit Settebagni, continue along the Via Salaria and follow directions to Roma Centro, Via Veneto, Via Bissolati and Piazza della Repubblica, Via NazionaleFrom South towards Rome, A1 take directions for Roma Centro, after tollgate follow directions for Appia. Continue along the ring road and exit Appio/San Giovanni. Follow directions for San Giovanni and Santa Maria Maggiore.

As of Jan 2011 Rome is introducing a new city tax to be paid by the guest to the hotel directly prior to their departure, excluding hostel and charged up to 10 nights. € 3.00 per person/per night for 5* and 4* hotels and € 2.00 per person/per night for 3*, 2* and 1* hotels.

Monial Hotel was allright

The Mondial Hotel was a clean and allright hotel with good breakfast. It could have been closer to the heart of Rome, buth with a 10-15 minutes walk it was ok. The hotel was "well used" and not exactly modern in style, but we found it satisfactory. The area around the hotel is not the finest in Rome.

price-quality mondial rome is great

I have been to Rome 5 times the last 3 years. Normaly the hotel rates are verry high for the quality they privide. The Mondial best western was a big surprice for me. Friendly people, great room, bath and service. For Rome the breakfast was also verry good. Its in the centre of Rome on walking distance ( 200m) to the Metro

Hotel Mondial recommended

I would certainly recommend it. Within a short walking distance of the station and good connection for the metro and tour bus,. Room was large with an equally large bathroom. Very clean and no complaints with the service at all. Breakfast was served until 10.30 and was more than adequate. Slightly more expensive than similar hotels I have been to in other cities but well worth it. Was within walking distance of a number of attractions.
