We always stay at this hotel when we come to Rome. In fact, one of the Concierge remembered us from last year (!) as he had helped us then. Excellent and prompt customer service when there were plumbing problems (they changed our room within minutes)---beautiful sitting areas, good breakfasts----excellent location---Skoosh.com excellent customer service!

This is a great hotel--located close but far enough from the rough elements of Termini Station where u can pick up not only trains but busses at the bus depot. If we missed the Republica stop on the bus, we knew to get off at Termini--it wasn't a bad walk at all. The room was kept well, had a hanging chandelier, bathroom was clean, white and well appointed with slippers and bathrobes, also bath products. This is a European style hotel, and I have a favorite elevator there--the wrought iron elevator. Breakfast was nice in their dining room, eat in or eat outside. Cereals, breakfast meats, breads, a few hot items, capuccino, flans, fruits, and water are available. Concierge speaks English and is helpful. Tablecloths, cloth napkins and service. Good value for the money--absolutely LOVE the hotel--will stay here when we get to ROme again, hands down!

FOOD OF GOOD QUALITY. STAFF EFFICIENT BUT UNFRIENDLY. HOTEL VERY CLEAN, GOOD QUALITY BEDS, BEDDING AND BATHROOM. BUT NOT WHAT I WOULD REGARD AS 4* HOTEL. HALLS AND ROOMS NEEDED PAINTING IN PLACES. NO INFORMATION WAS PROVIDED ABOUT THE HOTEL LAYOUT AND SERVICES. GOOD LOCATION FOR SITES. WHILE HOTEL HAD SOME IMPRESSIVE FEATURES IT LACKED WARMTH. LARGE HOTEL THERE WAS A LONG HAUL TO ROOM. COULD HEAR ALL ACTIVITIES FROM OTHER ROOMS!!!! WHEN THEY HAD A CROWD AT BREAKFAST TIME THEY WERE NOT PREPARED AND OFTEN RAN OUT OF FOOD. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HOTEL TO THE YOUNG, ELDERLY OR INFIRM.

Great location, close to metro and bus routes. Impressive public rooms. Large bedroom with high ceiling. Lovely victorian bathtub for deep piping hot baths, rest of fittings modernised. Good breakfast buffet with hot and cold food, and nice capuccino if you asked. BUT noisy location - we had a side room, so not too bad, and good double glazing; however, strangely our room had an intermittent vibration. We tracked it back to the effects of traffic on the busy, bumpy, Via Nazionale at the front of the hotel. Not sure if all rooms suffer from the same shaking.
