Built in 1933, the hotel is housed in a XVI Century building with splendid terraces facing the roofs of Rome. This welcoming and prestigious hotel stands out for its interiors and quality service. The elegant rooms have refined draperies and valuable finishing that beautifully integrate the exclusive view of the Roman buildings. The hotel provides buffet breakfast.

As of Jan 2011 Rome is introducing a new city tax to be paid by the guest to the hotel directly prior to their departure, excluding hostel and charged up to 10 nights. € 3.00 per person/per night for 5* and 4* hotels and € 2.00 per person/per night for 3*, 2* and 1* hotels.

Perfect Rome location

Yes, I would definitely recommend this hotel to others...in fact, I already have. What impressed me most with Hotel Regno was the location. I think it is quite possibly the best location for a hotel in Rome given its proximity to major sights and monuments. I also found the staff to be very helpful and the free breakfast was a huge plus. Given the season we went, I found the value to be very good for the money. My only complaints are the A/C in the bedroom did not completely cool the room and there appeared to be mold in the bathroom. The positives definitely outweighed the negatives though!

Would recommend the Hotel Regno, Rome

Would recommend the Hotel Regno, Rome. It is very conveniently located within walking distance to the Trevi Fountain, local shops, restaurants, shopping, bus lines, hop on hop off tour busses to all of the Rome sights etc. The accommodations were very good, clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful and professional.

In relation to the price our expectations were met. The hotell was situated near the Trevi Fountain with walking distance to many places of interest. The room and the bathroom was small but was clean, well kept and had good beds. The air condition worked well. The safe in the room was very practical. We missed the possibility to make tea or coffe in the room. The prices we find at Skoosh are lower then what we find from other hotel net sites. And we have good experience with Skoosh.
