The accomodation and the facilities that the hotel had to provide were very basisc and I do not think that this can be graded as a 4 * hotel. Top of that, even the facilities on were not fully functional (ex. fridge was not working).

Hence, expectations were not met.

The decor is a tad dated but the rooms are big (it felt like we were in a mini suite), with a lounge/kitchen area. We asked for a cot, which was free and in very good condition. The breakfast was excellent, with a great choice of healthy and not so healthy options, suitable for a one year old. We loved the location, very close to an overnight car park and to the old town (10 mins walking distance). would highly recommend it.

We booked a room for three and were put in a "apartment" with 2 rooms....this was perfect for our needs. Location is an easy walk to all the sights.

I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were spotless and ready early when we arrived. The position of the hotel was great as you could walk straight into the centre and breakfast was fab to set you up for a days trek around Salzberg.

The rooms were comfortable, staff very friendly and helpful and breakfast had plenty of variety. Just a 15 minute slow stroll to the old town, via good shops and eateries, and 4 minutes from one of the beergadens it was well positioned. Could be noisy if you wanted to keep window open, but that is our only comment.
