Red Roof Inn San Antonio is pretty good for the money.

Basic but reasonably clean. No hair dryer. Did not feel comfortable with the walking alone to River Center after dark.

We loved the Red Roof Inn

It was extremely clean. It was in a great location to hit riverwalk, alamo, Mall, and the convention center. The staff was very nice. I will use this hotel every time from now on. We were just as close to stuff as the expensive hotels and we had a better value.

Good price for the location

Relatively easy walking distance to most of downtown and the Riverwalk. Ask for a room facing downtown. Desk staff was exceptionally nice.

Great Value

Convenient walking distance to downtown, no rental car needed. Just don't walk East of the hotel. Recently updated decor, friendly staff, minimal but accommodating amenities. We loved the free latte/coffee/mocha machine in the lobby!
