Loved relaxing by the pool and drifting in the "river". Everything is onsite with no worries. Read books and chilled out. Fantastic!

I would definitely recommend the Emily Morgan to anyone. The hotel staff was courteous and helpful. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. The breakfast options, although slightly pricey, were great. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

Awesome Location

Id recommend it to everyone. Nice very clean , great location , great housekeeping. The only bad thing was the expensive parking fees. Upon checking out i was charged $125 on parking fees for 5 days...Everything else was awesome. The views from the 22nd floor was good.

Stayed: Feb 2008

It was a decent hotel. They messed up the reservation so they moved us to a "suite." Not really sure what made it a suite except for the high ceiling since it was on the top floor. The continental breakfast was sub-par. The egg stuff was...interesting. Aside from that there, was bread, bagels, fruit and yogurt. No muffins or danishes. The showers are VERY tiny, so you'd better be thin.

Wish the kids area was open later than 7:00
the lazy river was closed at night also and its a shame how beautiful it was at night. They need to open it somehow for the guest at night.
It was a little hard to get a drink at night around the pool also
But all in all it was a great place to stay, and I will definitely go back. Hopefully the bees around the pool won't be so bad when we do.
Room service was fantastic. Beef short rib is a steal.

Baymont Inn & Suites San Antonio/Wurzbach

Baymont Inn & Suites San Antonio/Wurzbach
Not the best Baymont we've stayed at, but it was a place to sleep.

Review by: barry , Hudson, United States

We were a bit disappointed that this Baymont wasn't as nice as the one we stayed at the previous nights in Galveston (I would recommend that one). This one was old but was okay for the money. All rooms were accessed from the outside. No issues while we were there. Easy access to the highway.

I loved the free shuttle service to the Riverwalk area. It made it very convenient for my family. I did not like the fact that the rooms were not very soundproof. Our neighbors were loud and we could hear them very clearly. I think it was clean and the price was good compared to the hotels on the Riverwalk. There was no continental breakfast which I found unusual, but that was made clear up front. I thought it was worth the money overall.

The Menger Hotel

The Menger Hotel

Very nice hotel. Rooms are small since it is old, but excellent room. Our room overlooked the Alamo next door and the River Center Mall was on the other side. We were dead center in town just a short walk to the riverwalk. The hotel had an excellent Buffet breakfast for $25. The bar is really nice and there is an Ice Cream Parlor just outside. Parking is a problem and cost $25/day. Once there, you can (have to) walk to the Alamo Dome and all the sites you would want to visit downtown. It is a very nice hotel.

Definitely very good value for the money. I compared rates. The room was decent sized and very clean. New construction obviously. No in-room coffee maker and hairdryer. Flavored coffee machines and pastries for breakfast even if rate did not include it. Ask for a room away from the highway if you are sensitive to this type of noise. Safe walk to the mall, Alamo and south of the Riverwalk. Trolley stops in front of the hotel if you don't feel like walking. Agents were very polite and helpful. Skoosh has the best rates ever!

Marriott San Antonio Rivercenter

Marriott San Antonio Rivercenter

Review by: Anonymous , Jersey City, United States

Pricey. Breakfast usually not included in rate (however, there is a Denny's just across the street). There is NO free public wireless Internet access (you can purchase wired in-room Internet, $10 for 24 hours, or go to the third floor where business meetings are held, they have wireless Internet during business hours, about 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.). Hotel staff was VERY helpful (that's why I give it 4 out of 5, instead of 3), but rooms kind of average. The location is relatively safe, close to Riverwalk and the Alamo, but really on the fringe of the San Antonio downtown area, so if you don't have a car then you are kind of stuck in the small space. This hotel is very good for business purposes, not necessarily for a family vacation.

The service at LaQuinta Market Square was very nice. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The location is great, it is easy to walk down to the River Walkway and it is located across the street from the Market. We would recommend it to friends.

Hotel Staff was very professional and helpful with surrounding area. Rooms were very clean and kept on a daily basis. The price of the hotel was very reasonable. The hotel was located in a good location with a popular restuarant and Starbucks Coffee within 25 yards of the hotel parking lot. I would highly recommend this hotel to other visitors traveling to San Antonio, Texas.

Didn't get a room upon arrival because there were not cleaned yet. The shower was a bit small and they don't have any DVD players in the rooms. The coffee maker is in the sink near the restroom!! The bed was extremely comfortable and I would probably stay here again, but in a larger room.

It was a great location for going to the Alamo Dome.Bus picked us up at the corner and dropped us off at the front door of the dome.Picked us up at front door of the dome and back to the hotel.Took a long time to get through the heavy crowd and traffic in downtown San Antonio. The bus and trolly provide easy access to the riverwalk area. You can walk two blocks from the hotel to the market.
