Definitely - fantastic location, lovely hotel, nice room and staff, and the coffee in the morning and wine reception every evening by the fireplace were a really nice touch. Also the restaurant was beautiful. Overall much more than you would expect from a Best Western chain and will always head for the Tuscan Inn when we come to San Francisco again.

The hotel is in an excellent position, close to Pier 39 and restaurants. The room we stayed in was a little old and could have done with an update to the décor (especially the bathroom) with no outlook whatsoever.
One big down side for us was the lack of a safety deposit box in the room, there are boxes available at reception but most of them are quite small in size so if you have camera equipment you may have to lock it in your suitcase!
We had a king size standard room and found the bed quite uncomfortable; the sheets didn’t fit the bed which meant you woke up in the middle of the night fighting with the covers. The air conditioning was extremely noisy and I found it quite alarming that the windows didn’t open!
The reception staff were extremely helpful and polite and couldn’t do enough for you; all in all a good stay for a couple of nights.
