We all loved the Hotel Stratford, The staff were friendly and
very helpfull.
The standard of the hotel were good, clean and nice, but the rooms and specially the beds a little too small for my size, my feet were sticking out, and I'm only 183 cm.
I would recommend the hotel and would stay in the same hotel the next time in San Francisco.

My only complaint: the temperature of my room was a little too warm. The benefits far outweigh that issue.

My room was on the second floor right next to the staircase = no wait for the elevator when I was in a rush. It was also very close to the tea room for breakfast and afternoon tea - the coffee and muffins were excellent!! My window did not face the street = less of a breeze (added warmth), but also very quiet (worth the extra warmth).

Every staff person was wonderful - especially Corey.

I was in California for work, but I plan to stay there again when I go back to San Francisco for vacation.

We thought this hotel was perfect for what we wanted. We're both college students and we wanted a clean, safe, not-noisy and not-gross place to stay for the weekend while we explored the city. We were looking for a lower cost room (as close to $100 as we could get without sacrificing cleanliness or safety). I was a little skeptical after reading reviews of other hotels in this price range that describe unsafe neighborhoods, noise, etc. but our room was simply perfect. No issues whatsoever. Granted, it was a little small, but all we wanted was a place to crash and hang out a little bit. It definitely gives you comfort without giving you that low-quality hotel feeling. Very clean, totally quiet, and the location could not have been better. We will stay here when we return, definitely!

The Stratford Hotel was deligtful! Small and old, reminded me of a hotel I stayed at in Paris.

Stratford was ok. The room was real small--bed, desk and sink in the room, tiny bathroom with stall shower and toilet. Old fashioned radiator was hard to regulate. But the place was clean and the bed was ok. Staff was pleasant. I was disappointed in the breakfast--sugary granola (surely not home made as is advertised), strawberry yogurt and white bread.

Location is very convenient.
