Freys is definitely a good place to stay in Stockholm. The hotel is clean, has a very nice breakfast, staff is helpful, and the location across from the train station can't be beat. It also has a Belgian beer bar, which is very helpful as Scandinavian beers are generally not all that good :) On the negative side, the hotel is a bit overpriced if booked though sites like Expedia or Orbitz, but finding a great deal on Skoosh made the hotel very affordable and a great value for the money spent. In sum, I would stay there again.

it was good value in the urban area. It was easy to walk 2 blocks to the Arlanda Express. (Connect with SAS)

Great smorgasbord breakfast and open atmosphere.

forgot and kept room key, realized this at security at the airport
if possible, please leave my "CREDO" book of poetry in the magazines or books in your lobby.

Cross section of hotel guests represent cross section of Stockholm. I am of the opinion very friendly in a very friendly town.

the staff was incerdiable helpul & accomodating, the rooms very small but the location spectacular for walking to Old Town & the Ice Bar!

Excellent location just steps away from Arlanda Express from the airport. Close to walking streets leading all the way to Old Town. Restaurants, bars (including the famous Ice Bar) and shops nearby. The staff was friendly and helpful in arranging our sightseeing and transportation around town. Not an extravagant spectacular hotel, but neat, clean, organized, friendly,safe, reasonably priced, charming, completely comfortable.
