Scandic Malmen

The hotel itself was pretty good with nice staff, good breakfast and live music in the bar.

I think the bathroom was too small and it was not that easy to get in and out of the shower which was in the bathtub.

Anyway, I had a great stay and it was a 10 minute walk to Gamla Stan and right on top of one of the metro stations.

The check in was very slow, although only two, three people was in the row. I had travelled all day and was quite worn out In the restaurant in the evening the waitress did not ask if everything was OK after the food was served. When finished, she (or anyone else for that matter) did not care to come to my table to ask whether i wanted desert,or something else - or to pay. I just left without anyone noticing, and paid my bill at the reseption desk.. The bar was so noisy that it is hard to understand how people may talk in there - or even stay there at all. i did not.. The room was OK with a good bed. I travel a lot, and I have been on the next highest level of Scandic membership. Unfortunately, the latest years, I have several bad experiences with Scandic.

Sure. The hotel is close to the subway and have ok pricing and quality. thats whats important to me.
