It's a bit remote from city centre and must take walk around 8 mins to the nearest metro station. Excellent service & friendly of the hotel staff.

I would say it is nice hotel, very easy to go around because it is near to MRT station. The hotel is clean and the staff are cheerful and helpful. One thing I personally want to complain is breakfast. The hotel should provide different breakfast. I stayed 7 days at the hotel and I had the same breakfast everyday. The others things are good.

I stayed one night in Dong Wu and it was great. Very clean, quiet, well equipped room , nice interior design and free WiFi internet. I paid 81USD/68EUR for one night which I think it is acceptable for Taipei city.
The only disadvantage is that the hotel is located a bit away from the closest Metro stations (10 min walk). If you can live with that, this is an awesome hotel to stay. Taxi is cheap in Taipei, so that would not be a problem to get home at night. 110 TWD/ 3.5 USD from the main station to the hotel. I will stay there again and I would like to recommend this hotel to others.
