Situated on Mt. Dan-feng, the hotel is surrounded by well-preserved, pristine woods. Masked palm civets, squirrels, and lizards are some of the commonly seen wildlife during a stroll in the nearby woods. Since their discovery in 1896, the white sulfur hot springs of Beitou have been advertised through word of mouth. The Hotel is well-known for its hot springs, whose pH 4-5 and temperatures between 40-45°C, allow guests to fully relax in their healing waters. 'Nature‧Modern' best represents the Gaia--a hotel of pure white color and primarily built from wood. It is close to nature--without harming the ecological systems in the mountains—while at the same, has a modern, minimalist design. The Gaia is a modern and cozy, lively and enjoyable hotel.
