I've stayed in better hotels for the same price as AMI. Breakfast was somewhat poor and hotel could be cleaner in general. Otherwise, the hotel was ok.

Warm welcome for me at midnight when I arrived and I felt very safe. Bathroom and bedlinens clean and bed comfortable, but carpet was FILTHY - I never put my feeet on it only on shoes or slippers. Budget accomodation is Very hard to find in Tel Aviv, and this at least didn't break the bank, but I would expect more in the US for the price. It was only a 5 0- 10 min walk over the freeway (lots of steps) to the beach which was in front of the Sheraton and beautiful. Taxis to get to and from Ben Gurion were costly -$ 50 - 60 !

We were pleasantly surprised to find that the hotel was located a short walking distance from the beach and across the street from the Sheraton and other expensive hotels. We found the accomodations just right considering the price was very reasonable. Air conditioning was provided so we slept soundly. The morning breakfast was excellent with fresh fruits and vegetables in addition to the usual breakfast fare.

An excellent budget hotel. The staff was much more friendly and helpful than in any other hotel staff at the more expensive hotels we stayed in about Israel. The location was great, putting us within 2-3 min walking distance of the beach as well as Ben Yehuda Street. The room booked online was about what was to be expected from a budget hotel. The room was very clean, but amenities leaned more towards functional with only one window facing an alleyway. However, we booked a room later in our stay that was much nicer with a deck and an open view of the sea (that is if you hung over the edge and looked west). All in all, the hotel was perfect for our needs and I would recommend it to anyone on a budget wanting to take in Tel Aviv!
