The Westin Harbour Castle is a 5 star hotel located bang on the lakefront in Toronto. Westin is an excellent chain if a little pricey, but the ridiculously low rate I got from Skoosh made it ultra-affordable, although we tended to go across the road to a small deli for breakfast. However it was the beginning of March and temperatures were pretty brutal outside which is probably why such good rates were on offer as the hotel is about 5-6 minutes walk from Union Station - the nearest point you can get onto the PATH underground walkway system. Great location for the Air Canada centre (5 mins max on foot) and not bad for the Rogers Centre and the main Toronto Convention Centre (about 10 mins on foot.) In summer the location would be great with lots of waterfront activities around.

The hotel is clear, excellent staff who were very helpful and in a great location in downtown Toronto. I was impressed with this hotel and would stay again.

The hotel is very nice. Beds are very comfortable, and the bedding is great. Nice views. Very nice work-out room facility (for a hotel) and a great indoor pool. The location is not really in the center of town, so getting around in the cold was a little bit inconvenient...unless you don't mind taking cabs everywhere. We actually walked quite a lot, and we did take the subway a couple of times (The Union Station is located few blocks from the hotel), so it was all right. For a conference, this hotel would be great because its big and has a business center.

Customer service at the Harbour Castle was excellent and it must have been updated recently, as it has a nice modern look and feel. It's not as central as some other hotels, being right on the edge of downtown core, but the area is being fill in with condominiums and first-floor services and restaurants that come along with it. It is decently enough located though; close to Union Station.

Yes. Room was clean and comfortable. Given that the room offered a beautiful view of Lake Ontario, it was an especially good value.
