Best Western Primrose

Review by: Brian , Thunder Bay, Cayman Islands

I recommend this hotel. The rooms are modern and very clean. The hotel people were very friendly and helpful. And the rates provide good value. In fact , the room was better that some 4 star hotels I have stayed at. My expectations were exceeded.

This was a nice hotel.

My only complaint of this hotel was the restaurant. I wasn't able to return to my room until after 8pm and when I inquired about restaurant hours, I was told it was only open for breakfast and that I would have to go out if I wanted dinner. After being out all day, I wasn't up to heading out again.
The hotel was clean and fairly quiet. Good value for the money.

Primrose better than before

Review by: Falccros , London, Canada

This hotel has a great location, expensive parking (common to the city - there is cheaper within walking distance on Jarvis and Church street under Zelda's).
Rooms are nice, well appointed - some are a bit tired but it is an older hotel.
They do now have a nice lounge and restaurant on site as well as a Tim Hortons.
They were very accomodating allowing early check in and late check out and that leading up to New Year's Eve!

Primrose ~ Amongst the Thorns

Review by: M'e , Columbus, United States

I would definitely recommend the Downtown Toronto Best Western PRIMROSE as a comfortable place to put up your feet while visiting this wonderful City. The hospitality was kind - all the way around - and the rooms were noise-free from the outside. The stay was a great value, and all of my expectations were met. ENJOI YOUR STAY AT THE BET WESTERN PRIMROSE, TORONTO -- yes, ENJOI!

It is decent. Not great but decent.

Ok so this hotel is located on Carlton St and Jarvis in downtown Toronto. Nice quiet area. Primarilly mainly a lot of students in this area. Yes it is safe! The hotel is about 2 blocks away from the old Maple Leaf Gardens Arena and about 5-6 blocks away from Yonge and Dundas (The main intersection in Toronto for shopping and what not). The hotel charges $23 for underground parking which is ridiculous. When you go ask them to show you were the $7 parking is. It is about a block away on Jarvis right beside the Mac's. The hotel itself well to be honest for a downtown hotel it needs a reno that is forsure. It isn't dumpy by any means but about two blocks away is a Marriot which just blows it out of the water looks wise.
