The roots of the hotel structure go back to an ancient tuna fishing dock site of the XVI century where in early summer times the so-called "mattanza", a cruel but fascinating tuna fishing accompanied by rhythmical songs, took place.

The refined (Il RAIS) restaurant whose name recalls the man who devoted his life to the tuna fishing for years, and so offers clients traditional Sicialian dishes. The restaurant, was constructed from ancient floors where fishermen worked, the walls in original tufa, the roof with wooden beams and the stone to create a very close & hearty atmosphere. A perfect & ideal place to enjoy good food & wines and relax.
