The hotel is centrally located near Burnaby Business District and a 15 minute drive to downtown Vancouver. The Metrotown Shopping Center, Burnaby Village Museum, Deer Lake, Central Park and Swanguard Stadium are all fairly near too. If you don't have a car (parking is free), it's only a 5-10 minute walk to the Skytrain station, where you can travel straight to the city center. The rooms and [hidden] are all clean, comfortable and spacious, and the quietest rooms are at the back of the hotel. The complimentary breakfast is more than sufficient but if you're still hungry you can add items for a small fee. The Jaguar Pub and Grill is on site and there are a number of other restaurants in the area. There's also a heated outdoor swimming pool, but it is seasonal. The staff are helpful and friendly. A great place to use as a base while sightseeing.

The facilities are of reasonable standard for the price paid for an 'out of city centre' hotel. Buses can be caught outside the hotel to down town and the Sky Train is but a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Hand for safeways and Liquor Store that are next to the hotel.

It was fairly mediocre, nothing to write home about. One disappointing thing was that we asked for a non-smoking room, and then when our plane was delayed we called to warn the receptionist about the late arrival. When we got there, we were told that there were no non-smoking rooms left because we were late, and the receptionist didn't even apologize.
