I would recommend the Blue Horizon to anyone looking for a really nice hotel, that is moderately priced . The Blue Horizon is a great value for your money. It far exceeded our expectations. We expected that since it was an intercity hotel the room would be small, but our room on the 12th floor was very large and was just all around a nice room. All of the rooms have balconies, with great views of Vancouver. We travel a lot and stay in lots of hotels, this hotel was much better than many, more expensive, hotels we have stayed in.My wife and I spent 7 nights there and enjoyed it.

Excellent value for the money, especially thru Skoosh!
Location is within walking distance to cruise ship port, approx 8-10 blocks mostly downhill.
Rooms are very spacious and clean, all with great views.
Beds are especially comfy!
Only suggestion I would make is not charge $1.50 for additional coffee pkgs for in the room since there is NOTHING open early in the morning and most people are two cup drinkers!
We especially enjoyed the service the hotel provided to store our luggage at no cost, a tip of course, while we did some sightseeing prior to walking to the cruise port.
We would highly recommend this hotel and we would most certainly stay there again.

I would recommend the Blue Horizon to anyone staying in Vancouver.
The only downside is that the Coffee Shop is a little small for the size of the hotel but otherwise everything was fine.

The Blue Horizon is located on Robson Street in Downtown Vancouver. Robson Street in one of the main streets in Downtown Vancouver with a wide range of shops, bars, cafes fast food joints and restaurants. The hotel is very nice for the price. The hotel front of house staff on Reception are extremely helpful, polite and courteous. The location of the hotel is superb as well with easy access to public transport and near to all the major attractions. The hotel is about 30mins by cab from the airport and should cost $35. The rooms are a good size, as well as the queen beds and comfortable. The bathrooms need updating and are small compared to the room. I stayed on the 23rd floor and the view was excellent facing the mountains and in to the bay, so try and book a room as high up as possible.
