Empire Landmark Hotel is good value for your money.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to others as it was very good value for the money. You can't beat the location. Robson Street in Vancouver is fantastic for shopping, eating or just strolling. It is easy walking distance to the ferry to Granville Island or to the downtown waterfront. The view is amazing. My expectations were exceeded!

Not too impressed with Empire Landmark Hotel

The view was spectacular. The room was very small and had 2 small beds in it, neither bed big enough to fit both of us. Had to catch a plane the next morning and discovered there was no hot water in the shower. As a matter of fact, the shower didn 't work, nor could we use the bathtub as a bath, since there was no plug. Not a good start of a day. BUT, we would go back to this hotel, getting a room with a larger bed and checking if the shower works BEFORE unpacking.

Best value in Downtown Vancouver

I've been staying here for years. It's not elegant and is due for a major renovation, but the rooms are clean and most rooms have a spectacular view. The rotating bar and dinning room on the top floor is still impressive but there should be a decent restaurant on the main floor for breakfast and lunch. The rates are very reasonable.
