Great old fashioned hotel that see's to your every need, this will always be our 1st choice if we return to Vancouver

Yes. The location and efficient customer service. The room's cooling system is not very good. It is an old hotel. Our room was on the 12th floor and despite the cold weather outside, the room was uncomfortably warm. We tried opening the window to let the cool breeze come in but it was useless because according to the maintenance guy, the room is a positive pressure room so the air travels outside but not going inside. Unfortunately, their thermostat is preset only up to 65 F. And even if it's set at 65 F, the room temp remained at 71 F because their central condenser is broken and old. We didn't get to sleep on our first night. Good thing we requested a room transfer the following day and they willingly transferred us to a lower floor.

Yes, I got a great deal on Skoosh, so it was well worth it. Can't beat the location. Concierge was helpful, friendly, and accurate.

The hotel is in the middle of downtown and covenient to
everything (shopping, resturants ect ).One of the best
feature of this hotel is the two golden retrevers available for walks.I stayed with my three children so the dogs were
great .We had agreat stay at this lovely hotel and would definitely stay at the hotel again.
