1 of 1 people found the following review helpful — I would definitely NOT recommend this hotel to anyone, not even my worst enemy! I have never gone online to submit any complaints, but the experience I had at the Georgian Court Hotel in Vancouver, BC, Canada was so horrifying that I feel a need to write something about it so that other travelers will not have the experience I've had. Took forever (45 min) for the front desk staff to check me in. Elevators broke down several times and I wasn't allow to use the stairs to go up! Bathroom grossly dirty. Used condem on the floor next to my bed!! Housekeeping took 2 hours to come properly clean my room. Loud and noisy, from construction that woke me up early. Pretentious greetings from staff who all looked extremely unhappy. There's more but out of space here. Don't stay at this hotel! Scary!

The Georgian Court is a really welcoming hotel

We had stayed there before, in January, and when it was time to go back to Vancouver I really wanted to stay there again. Very convenient location for us - close to chinatown, and the downtown SFU, and right beside BC Place. The room was lovely, again - we got a suite so had a separate bedroom. The couch in the main room is a bit uncomfortable, but the desk chair and other chairs were great. The bed is comfy, the hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming and helpful. My Mom stayed one night, too, and was very pleased with how she was treated. We will go back again

Georgian Court-Canucks Game

Rooms are nice but lobby, hallways etc showing sign of wear and tear. Beds were comfortable.

We loved the Georgian Court Hotel

The whole experience at this hotel was great. Check-in was a breeze. Paul, at the front desk, was gracious and made us believe we were his most important customers. He upgraded our room without charge, then spent about 15 minutes with us discussing the highlights of Vancouver (including what NOT to do!!). The room was exquisite, well appointed and comfortable. The housekeeping service was excellent. All-in-all, I'd recommend this hotel to anyone.

Georgian Court Hotel

Arrived early and were able to go to room immediately. Front desk staff were very polite and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Room was great - robes, slippers and Aveda bath products. Walking distance to shops, theatres and stadiums. Would definitely return to this hotel.
