Yes I found the hotel very acceptable & convenient for my needs. Good clean rooms with lots of comfort. At first I thought the location was not ideal but soon found ways of getting into downtown VC. Also just 10/15 minutes walk from the sky train & via rail station. Good bus service around the corner on broadway. Excellent breakfast with a good selection and all for just $5 for clients. I would certainly stay there again.

We were there Sept 20'08. The hotel room was adequate. Older hotel but not a dump. We had a room with one queen bed. Room was small but clean enough. Could use a "refreshed" bedspread. I don't like any hotel bedspread. Bathroom was small but clean. Looked like our room had a relatively new carpet. The drink glasses were disposable plastic. Glass is much nicer but I guess after all the reports in the media of many hotel chains where the cleaning staff used their cleaning cloths to wipe glasses etc, plastic is a good choice! Easy to get downtown. Take the 19 bus from right outside the hotel to Main and Terminal where the Skytrain station is. You can connect to downtown, GM Place etc from there. Major complaint was we were over the cabaret 3 floors up and you could hear the constant bass sounds of the music(thump, thump, thump).

It was an OK value. The 7th floor was better than lower floors. We found better values in North Vancouver.

The price is very good, the room was very clean - think throw back to the eighties. The reception staff are excellent (Greg) and full of info. There's a day and night bus to Van centre which is not far. The neighbourhood looks a little jaded but is absolutely fine with restaurants and a decent mall.. This hotel's even got a bar!
