The hotel is located on the fringe of the financial district and a shabby neighborhood. The street is lined with $1-a-pizza places. The rooms are decent for Canadian standards and clean, but has no view.

The hotel was fair, very small rooms, but served the purpose. We only stayed one night. be very careful! the day we left a man appeared ouside the hotel and told my husband and I that we would be charged an additional $100.00 on our credit card, for "smoking" in the room. WE DONT SMOKE!!!!! we did not have time to argue, because our taxi was at the curb, and we heading to the cruise ship. I will fight this with my credit card company. Please be careful. this hotel is shady!!!!!!

we were charged a additional $100.00 for "smoking"
the problem is that WE DO NOT SMOKE!!!!!
Please stay somewhere else . I tried to talk to the mangement but it did not work. We smelled smoke in the hotel from day 1, but never thought anything about it until the charge appeared on our credit card bill. Plus it is in a sleazy part of town.

The location is good if you are booked on a cruise. About 5 blocks from the pier. The rooms are very small. The breakfast was acceptable but the location in the basement is almost unbearable. The heat from the toasters/equipment make the temperature over 85F. They have a small portable air conditioner, but that is not enough. Also there are not enough tables to sit between 7:30a and 9:00a. The staff was quick to provide more pillows and towels when requested. We paid $US 170 per night. The level of this hotel should have a price much nearer to $US 90 per night.

I liked this hotel. It was comfortable, clean, with friendly staff. Breakfast was ok, not great but ok. I stayed there for just one night on business. I requested a very quiet room and I should say I got it! The best thing about this hotel is the location. it is located right in the center of downtown Vancouver, so you can walk wherever you want, still the bad and dengerous areas were far enough. I was not disappointed. If you are looking for a place for the family and want to stay longer, or you want a great view from your window, may be you should look somewhere else, ( for a much more money). but for a woman travelling on business it 's fine. I will probably stay there again.

The hotel was cozy, and offbeat... just the way I like it when traveling. Very close to Harbour Center, Gastown (and the Vancouver Trolley), Canada Place convention Center, and Vancouver Station... to catch cruise ships, trains, or the Seabus ferry to North Vancouver.

Breakfast was good with rotating hot items such as french toast, waffles, or pancakes to go with the eggs, cereal, juices.

The down side, room was small (not an issue for me) and restaurants were close, but not right there. Area felt old, but only a few steps to shiny towntown or touristy Gastown.

More than met my expectations, a good value, and I would recommend this hotel highly.

Yes i would recommend it. No view, just another wall. Good for value, since i wasn't staying in the hotel unless i was sleeping. It was what i paid for it.

The room was very small but clean. The staff were very polite and helpful. We had to take off before breakfast on our last day. We were given a sack breakfast to eat on the road. I would add a variety of fruit and yogurt to the breakfast menu.

Be warned about this hotel. The name Ramada suggests a standard layout. This is a boutique hotel. Separate beds, small, qaint rooms, kind of rough downtown location. Friendly staff and standard continental breakfast fare. The hotel is OK if you like it kinda funky.

Great location to many sites in downtown Vancouver. Cute hotel. Not much to not like. Definitely recommend, especially to cruise people. Close to cruise terminal. Within walking distance to many sites.
