We would recommend this hotel to those visitors who don't need to have a luxury 5-star hotel. Location is nice, water bus station is near and there is a very nice trattoria and a restaurant very close to the hotel. Room was clean, it was not noisy and breakfast was sufficient. This hotel was nice little place with a true venecian atmosphere. |

We just came back from 3 nights stay at this hotel. It is a good find for us. the room is quite spacious, it is close to most sites via walking (15 walk to St Mark Square) or ferry. The owner Lucio speaks very good English and is extremely helpful. There is an tall Asian guy there in the evenings, who spoke good English but not very eager to help (that would be only mark against this hotel). The info on the website is incorrect, we were told the line 82 ferry is no longer operating. Instead you can take line 1 or 2 from PIAZZALE ROMA (cost $3 Euro to get from airport on a bus to PIAZZALE ROMA). Line 1 leads you to Accademia ferry stop, LIne 2 leads you to ZATTERE ferrt stop. It is much easier to find the hotel if you take Line 1. |

We have just spent a lovely short break in Venice and were fortunate to have stayed in the Palazzo Guardi Hotel. The hotel is somewhat hidden up a very narrow passage way just a couple of minutes walk from the Accademia Bridge and Zattere stops , but is well sign posted. The hotel is housed in two separate buildings - the main part has the 24 hour reception (and extremely tiny and slow lift to the reception on the second floor!) We stayed in the other part of the hotel where we given a front door key to let ourselves in and out! The room was a good size and perfectly adequate - it was also very quiet and felt a million miles away from the noise and bustle of the city. Breakfast was disappointing, but that aside the fantastic location of this hotel more than made up for it. |
