Mediocre Ocean Front Experience

The Coast is a clean mid range hotel with a nice patio and is very close to Fisherman's Warf and a brief 20 min walk to downtown Victoria around the water line. It would have been cheaper for us had we actually booked the hotel through the hotel itself as we paid over $200.00 through Skoosh and when we got there they had a special for $129.00. The rooms are basic and don't come equipped for modern day gadgets so make sure you pack your iPhone and iPod chargers. If it's just a place to rest your head it's perfect....if you can get it for the right price. We had stayed at the Delta the night before for $165.00 and wish we had stayed another night. Great pool for kids and Whale Watching right in front. Poor sheets and bed quality but otherwise a solid 3/5.

High Standard of Service, well appoined rooms.

You will be happy you have chosen this Hotel as the quality is as described and the location is good as it allows a lovely seaview walk along the coast to the main town in about 10/15 minutes. The food is very expensive if you eat at the hotel but there are pleanty of choices in town.

Enjoyed our stay at the Coast Harbourside

My wife and I spent a weekend at the Coast Harbourside on Canadian Thanksgiving weekend, mid-October. It is a nice, well run hotel. We were only a short walk away from harbour, Parliament Buildings and the centre of Victoria. The cost was very reasonable for this popular weekend. The Royal Victoria Marathon was taking place that weekend. There is a nice lounge and restaurant in the hotel and you are only a short walk or taxi ride to many other fine restaurants in Victoria. This hotel is in a quiet part of Victoria harbour. I would stay there again.
