I would recommend the Inn at Laurel Point with one reservation. My wife and I checked in and I decided to immediately up grade to the Ericson wing.(just because it wasn't much more and the pictures on-line of the rooms were great). After about 5 minutes in the room we both noticed a constant sound that was like someone vacuuming loudly in the next room.I phoned the front desk and they apologized but there was nothing they could do as the noise was probably from the air conditioning. The next morning I told the front desk the same story and they sheepishly said sorry but did nothing to compensate us in any way.(not even complimentary parking) It wouldn't take much to lure me back there, and if they really cared about our stay they might have showed a little more interest, but next time I will try another place first. |

no concierge service, room not clean, tired, needed update, no flexibility in changing room or getting late check out... no bar, food ok but expensive. |

If your thinking about this hotel with idea of it being pet freindly, it cost you plenty $50.00 for your dog of 30lbs and under, the rooms are in the older part of the hotel, and not nearly as nice as the ones that are not for dogs, there is also a$10.00 charge for parking, the parking lot is across the street and if it is raining you get wet, there is no under cover for you to take your luggage to or from you car, also not impressed with house keeping, found a half used bottle of body lotion. under my bottom sheet |
