The Hilton Danube, Vienna is ok

The Hilton Danube, Vienna is a clean and ok hotel, but the interior is very old fashion and needs an update. The gym, spa and sauna facilities are great. Although the hotel is located a bit outside the city centre it is well connected by the metro.

Hilton Danube

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It would be even better in summer when you could make use of the pool and outdoor areas. The rooms were spacious, a good gym and fantastic breakfast. The new metro line will soon run out to this hotel - Stadium station (I think it is to be completed by June) and this will make the short trip to the city centre more convenient. However there is a tram within very close walking distance and a shuttle bus that the hotel provides (you must book ahead!) I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent Hilton Danube!

This hotel is very good overall although no bath tub and tea coffee facilities - we had a beautiful view of Danube and breakfast was superb! Only downside is the tram stop (No 21) which is a bit far and you need to go up a flight of stairs to cross the main road to the hotel - not very convenient if you have heavy luggage. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you can get it at bargain price!
