the hotel is in Wieden, a bit off from the town centre.. however, for th price, its a good deal. The hotel will be better if they have a refurbishment of the old design and decor. The room is small.. all in, it met our expectation just for a place to stay.

The plus points:
clean, comfortable, large room
good value for the proce - unusual for Vienna!

The minus points:
around twenty minutes from the tourist area - 7 minute walk to U-bahn and four or five stops till you get there
breakfast not included

Overall, if you're willing to walk or U-bahn each day, this is a comfortable hotel that won't break your budget.

I thought the location near the underground (U4) and trams (D) was great and there were sufficient restaurants around to satisfy most tastes. I had a single room that was very spacious and very quiet (not a great view though). Having a bathtub was great. Most staff were pleasant, especially the young woman that cleared up in the dining area. There seemed to be quite a spread for breakfast. The lift was a good addition even if it was very small. I would recommend this hotel.

The bathmats are very thick and heavy and when it was wet, it did not dry out and was not changed during the four days that I was there. There are not partitions or shower curtains on the tubs, so it was very easy to get water everywhere as well. The TV had access to CNN only for English language.

Room and breakfast were good. Easy access to U-Bahn.
No restaurant might be a problem for some.
Good for business and conferences, but less so for families

Atlas hotel was good value for price. It is very clean.
Location is good, very easy to access to city center.

The Strudlhof is situated 20 minutes north of the city centre: U-bahn to Schottentor-Universiteit, then any of trams 38 to 42 for two stops, followed by a short walk.

The hotel is clean and comfortable, has friendly staff, and is reasonably priced. Unlimited wi-fi is free and breakfast (included) is tasty and generous.

I'd happily stay there again, being willing to accept the minor extra hassle of travel to and from Vienna centre for a quiet, comfortable and fairly-priced room.

The room vas big and clean. Stuff is nice and heplfull. Underground station with train to center is few minutes away. They have own garage, but it is not free of charge. Bar in lobby is open after 3 p.m. so You can't drink morning coffe in hotel. Next time I will stay here again.

Yes. Location is excellent for early morning flight into and out of Vienna. Downtown access is easy and inexpensive (at least for single traveller). I have stayed at hotel numerous times and been generally satisfied with facilities and value for money. This visit, front staff were much more congenial than on previous visits (they should take a lesson from NH Hotel Amsterdam Airport on how to greet arriving and departing guests). The only complaint was the utter surliness of the woman on the entrance desk to the dining room when I went for breakfast - unbelivable - both on entering and leaving. The sort of attitude that makes you want to buy the hotel and sack her on the spot. In the overall picture though this is a minor complaint and my work schedule means that I will happily continue to stay there.

To be perfectly honest, I was just searching around on the net and Hadyn was the right price in the right location.
Having to rely on public transport to get around and unable to speak german, I was very pleased to get out of the underground and find my hotel very easily. If you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel in a central location with helpful staff who are at reception 24 hours and a basic but clean and comfortable room then I would gladly reccomend the Hadyn. Breakfast was included and they also provide a free internet service. I would happily return to the Hadyn if I was to return to Vienna.

Impressed by the good location viz. near a metrostation, a garage for the car, nice and helpful personnel, an excellent breakfast buffet

Disappointed by : according to the internet - presentation the hotel would be equipped with airconditioning but with an outside temperature of 25/26 it did not work. Reception told me that as from the next week it would functioning ? Of course that did not help to lower the room temperature.
The room itself was spacious but curtains were frayed which gave a poor impression.
A wardrobe with closing doors was not available only .
Taking all this into account, price was too expensive.
