Helpful if you can speak Spanish; Interesting neighborhoods within walking distance but not a great part of town. We expected a better location.

As a post cruise hotel the Best Western Marina Del Rey hotel in Vina del Mar Chile was an excellent choice. If you travel light or have good roll away luggage the train, about a block from the cruise terminal, has easy access and is a fraction of the cost of a taxi. The train goes to downtown Vina and has a stop within a block of the hotel. Our room was ready upon arrival around noon, and was spacious, clean, modern and quiet. There are many tour options. The hotel will call a large tour company to make arrangements, or as we did, make arrangements with a local family tour business that frequents the hotel. Our last day was a tour of wine country and drop-off at the Santiago Airport. The ceviche in the hotel restaurant was excellent.
