I have been to this hotel a few times and enjoy each stay. It is huge, but very charming and customer service is good. I like it also because it is right on a metro station, close to downtown, but on lovely Rock Creek Park and close to the National Zoo. A bit away from the hustle and bustle, still close to Dupont Circle and downtown. Lots of great restaurants, too. Beautiful gardens and nice pool.

We enjoyed our stay at the Omni Shoreham. The accommodations, the king size bed, the decor of the room , bath and the lobby were most attactive It ws convenient to have a mini refrigerator and coffee maker in the room.The only concern were housekeeping. During our eight night stay, the room was not completely cleaned and towels were not left a couple of days.

The location was near a number of nice resturants and the metro which facilitated our daily commute to a conference at the Convention Center.

I would recommend it to others. It was a good value for the price we paid.

Yes, I'd recommend the Omni Shoreham in DC. The accommodations were great and the location was wonderful. I was there for a conference and my only complaint was that the conference halls are scattered and navigating the space was confusing.
