We enjoyed an excellent stay at the Helix. The pop-art feel of the whole hotel sets a cool,fun mood. We loved the Austin Powers feel of the lounge and the room decor. There is a $30 a day parking fee so keep that in mind when you book. Also the lounge serves appetizers but no meals. We found plenty of close options to eat so it's not a big deal. Overall, a fun,fun hotel with comfortable accomodations.

Friendly and helpful staff, but disappointing hotel. Interior decorating was very groovy, but maintenance was poor (dirty elevator, leaking tap) and overall result was that it felt a bit like a downmarket hotel last redecorated in 1969.
