Skoosh price was good comparative value for the accommodation. However, most hotels in this price range have internet service included. This place did not even have a free hot spot in the lobby. Location is most convenient to the metro, zoo, and several types of restaurants which are reasonably priced. All in all, a good stay.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting our nations capital. It is located in a area close to the zoo, and the metro is just a block away to get to other sights.
I've stayed in this hotel before and was anxious to come back again.
As a matter of fact, the conference I was attending was across the street at the Omni and althought the Omni is a lovely hotel.....I prefer the Marriott.
One word of warning....if you self park, make sure you remember which parking lot you are in. There are several!

The Hotel itself is beautiful, newly renovated rooms are somewhat small but very chic and the location can't be beat. Adams Morgan/Woodley Park is a great area, very nice, lots of restaurants, walking distance to the National Zoo and right off the Metro. The construction the Hotel was under for quite some time is over.
Now for the bad part! The housekeeping staff left a lot to be desired. Someone had used our rooms toliet before we checked in a didn't flush! The towels were not always clean, had to sort thru them. One day we did not have a bathroom rug left for us. Basically they just seem to make the bed and leave.
I have stayed twice before and this was the worst experience with the cleaning staff by far, I will give it another chance.
