There are not a lot of options in this price range. Not far from Chinatown and Metro station. A little noise from next room, but may not have been typical. Air conditioner was very noisy, but I didn't need to have it on. Fine if you just need a place to stay for meetings.

This is a very clean and otherwise very acceptable tourist-class hotel with a GREAT location -- two blocks to a Metro (Washington, D.C.'s underground) Station where three of five lines converge. Chinatown -- also two blocks -- is terrific for reasonably priced food, both asian and occidental, and most of the Mall / White House / Capitol Hill destinations are less than a mile walk. HOWEVER: the actual block that the Red Roof is on is not attractive; the neighborhood has the less fortunate out on the street and the storefronts reflect that. If the ambiance of the block you are staying on is important to your decision making -- go elsewhere.

Great location! Walking distance to all tourist sights. Plenty of places to eat right outside the hotel door.

If you're looking for a clean, safe and reasonably priced hotel then this is a good choice. It's convenient to the train in the heart of China Town.

I would stay here again due to the price and convenience. They accidentally put me in a smoking room and I had problems with my room key not working but for one night it's not a bad deal.

the desk people was great but still round rooms realy small and was not cleaned as i wished they would have. even with that could not beet price and i would stay there again but would voice my opioen mre
