We found the Best Western in Whitehorse was an exceptional place to stay. The room was beautiful and spacious. The bathroom was roomy and well lite. Not only was there a frig in the room but also a microwave. The staff was very friendly and helpful with directions. I was traveling with another female friend, we felt very safe at all times in the hotel. The pub downstairs has delicious food for a resonable price. It was a little loud outside when the patrons were leaving when the pub closed, but I would definetly stay there again. I would give it a 91/2!!

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and appeared recently renovated. The furniture and bathroom decor was modern. The shower had good pressure.
It would have been nice to have AC, but a fan was provided which was adequate.
It was good value for money.
The breakfast (2 eggs/bacon/toast/coffee) was very tasty and plentiful. It would have been nice to have some healthy options like fresh fruit and roll.

The room was a bit run-down and needed 'updating', ie paint, carpet, bed. Lobby is very nicely decorated. Hotel staff was a bit unhelpful and really didn't seem to know what they were doing--didn't answer phones when calling, got my reservation mixed with another person and couldn't understand it, couldn't get computer to work on check-out. Still, it's a nice location, reasonable price.
