The hotel is located in a north easterly suburb of Wismar. The area is called Gross Stroemkendorf and is situated between the town centre and the island of Poel and only two hundred metres from the coast.

Although recently built the hotel has adopted the traditional thatched roof and red brick facade of a country house.

The lobby is medium in size with leather sofas located on either side of the walk through. The reception desk is located on the right hand side.

Rooms are traditionally decorated and vary in size. Furnishings are in light wood giving a cosy farm house atmosphere befitting of the hotel's surroundings. Bathrooms are bright and functional.
