The hotel is centrally located opposite the Sunegga/ Rothorn and near the Gornergrat railway station. The hotel over looks a river running through the centre of Zermatt and is a few minutes walk from the shopping area.

The building itself is a typical, Swiss style chalet with attractive dark wooden balconies filled with flower boxes.

The medium sized lobby is very traditional in style, with lots of dark wooden beams and old fashioned lights. The lobby incorporates a cosy lounge and bar area with an open fireplace. The traditional wooden beams are one of the most prominent features of the decor not only here, but in all the public areas.

The medium sized rooms are in good condition. They are delightfully decorated with lovely wooden furniture and many have balconies from which guests can enjoy the spectacular views which surround this property. The bathrooms are all in good condition.
